A Notary Public, often referred to as a “notary,” is an officer who can administer oaths and statutory declarations, witness and authenticate documents, and perform certain other acts depending on the jurisdiction. All notary public officers must undergo an expended F.B.I. background check.

A Notary Signing Agent (NSA) receives financial document via mail carrier (“snail mail”), fax, e-mail or other electronic format. Then s/he meets with the client(s) to review documents. The NSA directs the borrower to the signature, or initial, lines and notarize any documents requiring notarization.

A Trusted Enrollment Agent (TEA) identify individuals working within the pharmaceutical, aerospace and defense industries who need digital credentials to sign and encrypt electronic records and documents. TEA’s undergo further F.B.I. background checks.

An E-Verify Agent (EA) utilizes an online system operated jointly by the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration (SSA) to check the work status of new hires online by comparing information from an employee's I-9 form against SSA and Department of Homeland Security databases. This was placed into effect on June 9th, 2008, via amended Executive Order 12989.
